This series has some very useful books on writing, especially Dialogue.

A Concise Anglo-Saxon Dictionary
Probably the best dictionary (in print) for Old English.
Introduction to Old English
A textbook on Old English. Also has a free online version.
Old English Grammar and Reader
Has translations of many Anglo-Saxon poems. The Wanderer should have some very familiar elements for LOTR fans.
Reading Old English: An Introduction
A terrific book with lots of exercises.
Wordcraft: New English to Old English Dictionary and Thesaurus
I highly recommend this if you need to write any Rohirric. It is well organized and has a lot of words that are useful for every day conversation.
